Structural Database of Allergenic Proteins

SDAP (Structural Database of Allergenic Proteins) is a Web server that provides database information and various computational tools for the study of allergenic proteins. The database contains information on the allergen name, source, sequence, structure, IgE epitopes, and literature references, and links to PDB, SWISS-PROT, PIR, GenBank, PubMed, and MEDLINE servers.

Criteria for Allergen Addition to SDAP

The SDAP database contains all allergens from the IUIS website (www.allergen.org), supplemented with information from literature and from major sequence (SwissProt, PIR, NCBI) and structure (PDB) databases. For each protein we indicate if it is an IUIS or non-IUIS allergen.

SDAP Update Schedule

SDAP is updated each three months (at the end of March, June, September, and December). An archive containing the SDAP status before each update is available as a reference for interested users.
